Job Summary
Execute skilled maintenance and repair across City facilities, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and pool systems. Troubleshoot and replace fixtures, construct partitions, and manage water chemistry while handling hazardous chemicals safely. Respond to public inquiries, perform urgent off-hour call-outs, and assist the Maintenance Lead in planning major projects. Maintain accurate logs, ensure OSHA compliance, and operate mechanical tools and vehicles. Part-time schedule of 20 hours weekly with on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or technical certification
- Two (2) years of building or facility maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
- Part-time (20 hours/week) on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification preferred
- Associate's degree (or equivalent) in facilities maintenance or related field
- High school diploma (or equivalent) plus three years of building maintenance experience, including one or more skilled trades
