Job Summary
Conduct daily resort maintenance activities for the Casino operations, including repairing, installing, and maintaining machines, tools, and equipment while ensuring continuous utility supply. Follow job orders and preventive maintenance programs to manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Complete daily postings, balance accounts, and process guest maintenance requests while informing Team Leaders of equipment issues. Approach guests, vendors, and team members professionally to develop solutions for concerns. Implement energy conservation programs and maintain organized work areas. Move up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions, including high noise levels and near moving parts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year maintenance experience, or twelve (12) months related experience and or/training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Ability to read, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance in these categories; electrical, carpentry and HVAC
- Knowledge of mechanical operations of a large building complex
- Must be physically capable of moving about on QBRC property, sometimes in adverse conditions
- Ability to work on own and with others
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public, vendors and team members
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment
- Occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally work in high, precarious places
- Occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Occasionally be at risk of electrical shock and vibration
- Valid Washington State Driver's License and must be able to be insured through our company insurance
