Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections, develop maintenance schedules, and document findings to prevent equipment failure across multiple store locations. Supervise and schedule maintenance staff, assign work orders, manage performance, and provide on-the-job training for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs. Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues and emergency repairs to minimize store downtime while ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and fully operational. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized work and track parts usage and budget management. Follow all OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and building codes to support uninterrupted retail operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of building or facilities maintenance experience
- 3+ years in a supervisory or lead role (preferably in maintenance or facilities)
- Hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general construction
- Proven ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50-100 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
