Maintenance & Facilities Manager

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime while developing and executing preventive maintenance programs. Improve equipment reliability through continuous improvement initiatives and perform general facility maintenance, including building systems, utilities, and grounds. Coordinate equipment installations, facility improvements, and maintenance projects while establishing relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Maintain spare parts inventory, order supplies, and create comprehensive maintenance documentation. Respond to equipment and facility issues as business needs require and support safety, food quality, GMP, and regulatory compliance. Requires 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish communication preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment reliability
- Ability to prioritize work independently and manage multiple projects
- Experience working with outside vendors and contractors
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new equipment and systems quickly
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Experience in food, nutraceutical, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting, welding, fabrication, or facility utilities
- Ability to communicate in Spanish
