Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day maintenance and repairs across Sydney properties using hand tools for furniture assembly, electrical, plumbing, and general ad-hoc jobs. Travel to multiple locations to perform fixes, inspections, and audits, while coordinating preventative maintenance plans for electrical, HVAC, and building equipment. Manage on-site contractors by monitoring work quality, running inductions, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Source parts, maintain inventory levels, and assist with test and tag requirements. Prioritize and schedule repairs efficiently, reviewing cost estimates for management approval. Report potential risks and adhere to safe work practices. This multi-site, travel-based role supports the Operations team to deliver a flawless guest experience across the serviced apartment portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Availability spanning over 7 days per week
- Valid Australian driver's licence
- Comfortable driving a work van
- A proven track record of prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Strong self-management and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify and convey critical information to stakeholders quickly and clearly
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve independently
- Professional demeanour with a strong ability to build positive working relationships
- Strong ability to multitask and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Comfortable working across multiple teams within the business
