Job Summary
Work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to obtain dimensions and finish specifications. Determine the method, sequence, and materials necessary to complete assignments, including repair, fabrication, paneling, ceiling, concrete work, and laminate plastics. Make working sketches of partitions, wall fixtures, and frames as required. Perform security escort procedures when accessing restricted areas. Operate with little to no supervision while using normal tools and equipment, including scaffolding. Requires a valid MS Driver's License, high ambulatory mobility, and knowledge of building codes. Full-time crewmembers receive benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, AFLAC, paid time off, and a 401k.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- Journeyman Carpenter
- Two years of experience or related trade
- Physical ability and skill to use normal tools and equipment associated with trade
- Knowledge of building codes
- High ambulatory mobility to enable person to respond to any type of emergency situation or service call
- Ability to effectively communicate by way of 2 way radio
- Ability to erect and work on scaffolding
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Valid MS Driver's License
