Job Summary
Maintenance Fabricator role focused on metal fabrication, welding, and repair of production equipment and facility components in an industrial manufacturing shop. Responsibilities include performing metal fabrication and welding, reading blueprints/drawings/fabrication sketches, cutting/grinding/bending/assembling steel, operating MIG/TIG/stick welding equipment, modifying/rebuilding machine guards, carts, conveyors, brackets, fixtures, and structural components, supporting maintenance projects and equipment installs, and conducting preventive maintenance while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Requires hands-on fabrication and welding experience, ability to interpret prints, and comfort with shop tools; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Required Qualifications
- Strong fabrication and welding experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Ability to fabricate parts and equipment from prints or verbal direction
- Experience with MIG welding required; TIG and stick welding are a plus
- Comfortable using fabrication and machine shop tools
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, or industrial equipment is a plus
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
