Job Summary
Assist with general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the community, including resident apartments, common areas, grounds, and equipment. Support upkeep of mechanical systems and perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections. Safely operate and maintain community vehicles, driving the community van for resident transportation and outings as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and communicate effectively with leadership and other departments. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the community while building positive relationships with residents.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate community transportation vehicles
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, environmental services, facilities, transportation, or senior living experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repair work, and safety procedures
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Compassionate and resident-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
