Job Summary
Oversee the daily operations of the hotel's maintenance department, leading a team of engineers, managing preventative maintenance schedules, and coordinating repairs and upgrades. Respond quickly to guest or operational issues while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes. Report to the Chief Engineer and maintain a warm, professional demeanor reflecting the company's culture of excellence. Eligible to work in the United States with a high school diploma or one year of hotel experience; bilingual Spanish skills are a plus. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
Desired Qualifications
- Hotel experience
- A high school diploma, a GED, or one year of hotel experience
- Previous experience in a similar or related position
- A combination of education and experience
- Bilingual (Spanish)
