Job Summary
Assist with equipment design changes, create and revise equipment drawings, and review functional failures to determine root causes. Review preventive maintenance tasks, aid in job plan creation, and gain a basic understanding of the steel-making process. This full-time summer 2027 internship begins May 17, 2027, with a competitive hourly salary ranging from $19.25 to $33.50 based on major, degree type, and class status. The program includes housing options, access to a 24/7 wellness center, and career development workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester
- Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related
- Familar with AutoCAD
