Job Summary
Maintenance Engineering Co-Op role seeking hands-on learners to support troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment in an aseptic food manufacturing environment. You will assist with equipment maintenance, calibration, inspections, LOTO and OSHA compliance, participate in Kaizen/5S and root cause analysis, help with startup/commissioning projects, utilize CMMS for work orders, and contribute to improvement projects across maintenance, manufacturing, quality, and technical services teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing Engineering or technical degrees (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology), have coursework in mechanical/electrical/industrial systems, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a motivated, collaborative mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an accredited program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Completion of at least one year of relevant coursework preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems through coursework or hands-on experience
- Strong interest in manufacturing equipment and maintenance
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative and inclusive team
