Job Summary
As a Maintenance Engineer at 3M, you will coordinate project timelines, budgets, construction activity, and personnel to successfully complete assigned projects; manage and audit the site contractor management program; ensure safety, health, and environmental standards; and apply analytical approaches to predict, prevent, or reduce production equipment failures. You will analyze data using reliability tools to develop improvement plans for production equipment, and provide leadership for Maintenance Conscious Engineering strategies, including programs like mechanical integrity. The role requires experience with reliability analysis, PdM/PM, strong cross-functional communication, and the ability to work with internal teams and outside contractors across locations including Quapaw, OK, US. Travel may be up to 5% domestic. Compensation ranges from $98,964 to $120,957 with potential benefits; U.S. Export Control considerations apply. Safety and EHS compliance are emphasized across the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Three (3) years of experience (including internship and/or Co-op) with production equipment reliability in private/public/government/military environment
- One (1) year of experience with Contractor Management (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience with reliability analysis, predictive maintenance (PdM), and preventive maintenance (PM)
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) across levels
- Legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
