Job Summary
Conduct in-house maintenance of building services and equipment across three key buildings at the Fresh Direct depot in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Manage upkeep of critical machinery ranging from electric doors and metal detectors to cooking vessels and heated pan kettles. Perform scheduled lubrication routines, execute preventative maintenance, and respond to general repairs to ensure depot operations reliability and colleague safety. Carry out occasional emergency call-outs while reducing reliance on external contractors. This permanent role requires an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and involves a day shift from 8:00 to 17:00 with overtime.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- experience in either electrical or mechanical engineering disciplines
- 18th Edition Wiring regulations
- general facilities plumbing
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Flexibility
