Job Summary
Manage departmental maintenance decisions, supervise skilled trades, and develop equipment process knowledge while utilizing a CMMS and CAD for design alterations. Troubleshoot mechanical processes, install new equipment, and oversee contract negotiations to cut costs and control energy use. Authorize work-orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and ensure plant safety while communicating projects with management. Research alteration requests and provide justification for changes.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or a related field
- Innovative
- good technical and mechanical knowledge
- excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
