Maintenance Engineer (Part-Time) — Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown

Maintain and repair the interior and exterior of the building, including guest rooms, meeting rooms, laundry, lighting, HVAC, ventilation, water treatment, and the pool. Inspect hotel systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation while performing preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems with accurate work records. Respond quickly to guest room maintenance requests and hazards, keeping the maintenance shop clean, organized, and secure. Communicate any hazards, emergencies, or security concerns to management immediately and help maintain the cleanliness of hotel grounds. Deliver friendly service during all guest interactions. Requires experience in general maintenance or a hands-on trade, with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical skills preferred. Flexible part-time hours including evenings, weekends, or on-call coverage as needed. Located in downtown Baton Rouge.
