Job Summary
Maintenance Engineer responsibilities include maintaining hotel property across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks; conducting daily inspections; ensuring safety and sanitary conditions; coordinating with housekeeping and front desk to enhance guest experience; following safety standards and properly handling hazardous substances; cross-training and performing other tasks as directed; on-site duties with weekend availability and a focus on preventive maintenance and repairs across the property's systems.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license for the state
- Familiar with OSHA, SB198, and local Department of Health regulations
- Trained in air conditioning and refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems typical for hotel properties
- Experience preferred (at least two years) in hotel maintenance
- Experience with basic hand tools and power tools
