Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary
Organize stadium maintenance functions and respond promptly to staff concerns and work orders. Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to ensure timely completion of corrective and preventive tasks, including repairs to seats, doors, restrooms, and general fixtures. Oversee maintenance records, supplies, and access control systems while performing inspections of buildings and equipment for safety and compliance. Provide minor service for air conditioning and ventilation systems, conduct regular facility inspections, and address emergencies as needed. Travel between CPKC Stadium, the University of Kansas Health System Training Center, and other sites within the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Self-motivated
- A minimum of two years' experience with power tools and hand tools
- Working knowledge of building systems, equipment, and OSHA safety standards
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts) and holidays
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move around the venue for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to work outdoors continuously for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
