Job Summary
The Maintenance Engineer will execute preventive and predictive maintenance procedures, develop maintenance schedules, diagnose equipment failures, mentor maintenance staff, and promote continuous improvement initiatives in a chemical manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / technical field
- Holding Mechanical engineering license
- 5 years minimum Maintenance or Reliability experience in a chemical manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of reliability principles, statistical analysis, and data interpretation
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment, and processes
- Knowledge of using Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques, cause analysis, and predictive maintenance technologies
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to maintenance cost optimization in relevant sectors
- Strong knowledge and experience in spare parts inventory management
- Strong knowledge and experience in mechanical equipment repair and alteration
- Proficiency in advanced data analytics tools and techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering
- Certification in maintenance or inspection related fields is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing and kaizen principles
- Training in Weibull, RCI, FMEA, RCM, RBI, Modeling, etc. facilitation would be helpful
- Project Management experience and knowledge
