Job Summary
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for executing preventive and predictive maintenance procedures to minimize equipment breakdowns and enhance performance. Key responsibilities include developing maintenance schedules, troubleshooting mechanical failures, leading continuous improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety programs. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, mechanical engineering license, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a chemical manufacturing environment. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of reliability principles, be proficient in data analytics, and demonstrate leadership in mentoring maintenance teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / technical field
- Holding Mechanical engineering license
- 5 years minimum Maintenance or Reliability experience in a chemical manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of reliability principles, statistical analysis, and data interpretation
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems
- Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards
- Strong knowledge and experience in spare parts inventory management
- Strong knowledge and experience in mechanical equipment repair
- Proficiency in advanced data analytics tools and techniques
- Proficient in various computer programs especially SAP
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering
- Certification in maintenance or inspection related fields
- Knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing and kaizen principles
- Training in Weibull, RCI, FMEA, RCM, RBI, Modeling facilitation
- Project Management experience
