Job Summary
Execute preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on reciprocating, centrifugal, and vacuum pumps, heat exchangers, and associated piping and vessels. Perform new facility equipment commissioning and implement continuous improvement plans to enhance equipment reliability. Respond immediately to all maintenance requests while coordinating contractor safety, quality, and reliability across on-site and off-site operations. Submit weekly hour reports and technical documentation through the management system to ensure proper record retention. Adhere strictly to APCI and Taiwan regulations regarding safety, health, and environmental standards by participating in safety training, meetings, and work safety assessments. Support other regional areas as business needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical equipment inspection, maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of new plant equipment
- Execution of preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, maintenance, new plant equipment commissioning, and mechanical equipment reliability improvement
- Actual execution of all mechanical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting within the plant area, including: reciprocating/centrifugal/diaphragm/screw compressors, low-temperature pumps, centrifugal pumps, vacuum pumps, heat exchangers, blowers, centrifugal expanders, gearboxes, piping, storage tanks, cold boxes, etc.
- Immediate response to all maintenance requests
- Coordination and management of contractors for safety, quality, and reliability of work on and off the plant
- Implementation of continuous improvement programs and tracking of equipment reliability improvements
- Weekly work hour reporting
- Technical report writing via management systems to ensure document retention within the plant and sharing with department colleagues to improve overall efficiency
- Adherence to APCI and Taiwan regulations regarding safety, health, and environmental standards
- Participation in safety training, safety and environmental meetings, and BSP basic safety procedures (APT, Job Safety Analysis, etc.)
