Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs across hotel common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bars, fitness centers, and guestrooms. Oversee and maintain all mechanical equipment and systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure while solving problems on a regular basis. Frequently interact with guests, assist vendors, and collaborate with front desk, food and beverage, and housekeeping departments. Work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with availability for 3pm-11pm encouraged. This role is within The Lenox Hotel, a Back Bay landmark independent hotel known for its character and genuine hospitality.
Required Qualifications
- must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- at times required to reach, lift, carry, push, pull, grasp, manipulate or otherwise move objects
- occasional frequency of bending, squatting, navigate stairs and ladders, twisting, and turning
- required to stand for up to six (6) hours at a time
- flexible work schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- availability to work 3pm-11pm
Desired Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of maintenance experience preferred
- Multi-Lingual a plus
