Maintenance Engineer III

Conduct comprehensive rounds of equipment and mechanical rooms to ensure system security and proper functioning. Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on critical infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and emergency power systems. Lead emergency maintenance efforts during off-hours, weekends, and holidays while coordinating with hospital departments and vendors to minimize patient care disruptions. Ensure all activities adhere to Joint Commission standards, OSHA regulations, and fire safety codes, maintaining documentation for audits. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record activities and manage work orders. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and respond to fire alarms and security incidents as a key member of the response team.
