Job Summary
Assist with operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment including guest room tasks like vinyl repair, paint touch-ups, and minor furniture fixes. Perform preventative maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, and swimming pool hot tubs. Execute plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs while monitoring energy conservation and responding immediately to alarms to determine location, cause, and emergency status. Report findings to the Front Desk and handle other assigned tasks such as shuttle van driving. Requires a valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR and expert knowledge of hotel-maintenance functions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Expert knowledge of hotel-maintenance function
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
