Job Summary

Conduct general maintenance of all Tribal entities indoor and outdoor premises, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers, carpentry, mason work, and landscaping. Perform timely repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance while reading meters, gauges, and testing instruments to detect and identify problems. Execute departmental technical projects and ensure accurate documentation of all repairs and preventive maintenance reports. Adhere to safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and internal control requirements while delivering a Five Star Experience to guests and team members across multiple locations. Maintain positive organization image and assist vendors as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years related experience and / or training
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment
  • Must be available for emergency calls 24/7
  • Must be available to work weekend and holidays
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Must attend all scheduled safety meetings and training
  • Must be flexible to work any and all hours
  • Must occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must occasionally push, pull up to 150 pounds
  • Must have close vision

  • Must be able to ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS)
  • Must be able to ensure compliance with all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS)
  • Must be able to present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors
  • Must be able to assist guests and vendors as required
  • Must be able to adhere to department service standards

  • Must be able to perform timely repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers and any other pieces of equipment
  • Must be able to perform departmental technical projects which will include, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical equipment repair
  • Must be able to perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mason work, and other related maintenance related work
  • Must be able to perform Landscaping/ sprinkler maintenance
  • Must be able to perform all timely and accurate documentation of all repairs and preventive maintenance reports
  • Must be able to provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees
  • Must be able to deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and all Team Members
  • Must be able to be consistent in performing service expectations of: Welcoming, Proactive, Seamless, Personalized and Valued
  • Must be able to work along with all Engineering personnel
  • Must be able to work with all departments on an as-needed basis
  • Must be able to work in Multiple locations
  • Must be able to work in a smoke-free environment
  • Must be able to work in surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitored premises
  • Must be a Tribal Member or Other Native American (per Indian Preference Act resolution)
  • Must be able to work 24 hours per day, 7 days a week
