Job Summary
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hospital-specific equipment while responding to work requests and pages in a timely manner. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hospital standards, address urgent critical issues to minimize operational disruptions, and conduct regular inspections of building infrastructure. Maintain accurate records of work orders, service reports, and equipment performance for management reporting, while assisting with budget management, supply ordering, and supervising entry-level engineers. Hold a valid driver's license and required state-specific licenses for steam boilers, refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing within six months of employment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or related roles
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
- Licensed Steam Boiler and Refrigeration within the first six (6) months of employment if applicable by state
- Licensed Maintenance Electrician
- Certified HVAC Technician
- PLUMBER - Licensed Plumber
- Georgia: CPI - Nonviolent Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training certification
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree or formal training in facility maintenance, mechanical systems, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or related roles in a hospital or healthcare setting
