Job Summary
Maintenance Engineer responsible for assisting with operation, maintenance, service and repair of hotel equipment; participate in preventative maintenance program; handle guest repair requests; perform safe, efficient trade work including carpentry, painting, light electrical/plumbing repairs, HVAC-related tasks and drywall repairs; maintain inventories; document daily activities; ensure safety compliance and use Lockout/Tagout; communicate with guests and shifts; possess basic knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems; capable of testing and repairing equipment, managing tools and supplies, and performing surface preparation and cleaning; flexible availability including weekends/holidays; strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work across multiple hotel areas.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
