Job Summary
Conduct maintenance, repair, and installation of the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems while managing preventive maintenance schedules. Perform HVAC, plumbing, and electrical tasks, including light carpentry, painting, and wallpaper work. Maintain pool operation standards and ensure all systems meet quality and safety requirements. This role supports the Historic Davenport Hotel's commitment to exceptional guest service within a prestigious, iconic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of 2-5 years in hotel, resort, commercial or institutional maintenance environment
- HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills
- Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper
- Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Read, write and understand English
- Valid driver's license
- Preventive maintenance background
- Pre-employment drug test
- Background check
- E-Verify participation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of 2-5 years preferred in hotel, resort, commercial or institutional maintenance environment
