Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, and repair all mechanical, electrical, and equipment affecting guest experience. Create a safe environment by completing room and building repairs, including replacing tiles, filters, and painting, while fixing toilets, sinks, laundry, and kitchen facilities. Maintain safety and cleanliness of the exterior, grounds, pool, and exercise room. Perform other duties as assigned, working closely with hotel departments. Requires high school diploma, hotel maintenance experience, and knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Must be able to lift 75+ lbs, climb without fear of heights, and work with little supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hotel or apartment maintenance experience
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
- Experience with general maintenance tools
- Troubleshooting ability with skills in painting, HVAC, and carpentry
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upward often
- Ability to climb, no fear of heights
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
- Self-starter Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Must dress and present themselves neatly
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC experience preferred
- Knowledge of pool care and maintenance preferred
