Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance and upkeep for the hotel building, rooms, restaurants, bars, and exterior landscaped areas. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely while ensuring all work spaces remain clean and orderly. Complete delegated work orders promptly and immediately report unsafe conditions. Maintain proper storage and care for all tools, equipment, and spare parts. Manage general groundskeeping duties including courtyard areas and landscaping. Work flexible hours in a seasonal capacity at Hotel McCall, a historic inn overlooking Payette Lake.
Required Qualifications
- general understanding of building maintenance and construction
- general understanding of grounds keeping and landscaping
- knowledge and the ability to operate tools, hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
- acceptable driving record
- flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations
