Job Summary
Lead maintenance operations for battery cell and BESS module/container manufacturing lines to ensure safe, reliable, and disciplined equipment uptime. Optimize equipment programs, troubleshoot to root cause, and drive predictive/preventative maintenance practices across the production and facilities environment. Serve as the go-to expert for maintenance reliability, applying a self-starter mindset to maintain precision in delivering energy storage systems. This role supports Ford Energy's mission to build the infrastructure for the next generation of the American grid.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading maintenance operations
- Knowledge of battery cell manufacturing
- Knowledge of BESS module/container manufacturing
- Knowledge of grid-scale battery energy storage systems
- Knowledge of commercial DC battery energy storage systems
- Ability to ensure safe, reliable, and disciplined operation of production and facilities equipment
- Ability to optimize equipment programs
- Ability to troubleshoot to root cause
- Ability to drive predictive maintenance practices
- Ability to drive preventative maintenance practices
- Self-starter mindset
