Maintenance Engineer

Diagnose and repair hardware issues in laptops, desktops, and other IT equipment while performing regular maintenance checks and updates. Assess and repurpose usable IT equipment for internal use, then safely dispose of outdated hardware in compliance with data security standards. Maintain accurate inventory records tracking repairs and disposals, and coordinate secure shipping and receiving of devices to remote staff. Provide basic troubleshooting assistance to remote users and liaise with the IT team for complex issues. Document all maintenance activities and prepare regular reports on equipment status and inventory levels. This part-time role ensures operational integrity for IT assets including laptops, keyboards, and headsets.
