Job Summary
Conduct electrical maintenance and installation across commercial buildings, managing both reactive and planned works for all sites in the property portfolio. Perform fixed wire testing, install new electrical systems, and support the Estates Manager with process development. Create maintenance documentation, technical reports, and job plans while ensuring all tasks comply with health and safety procedures and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Provide technical advice for low voltage power, lighting, fire alarms, CCTV, and security systems, and support the department's on-call rota for equipment issues.
Required Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2330 Electro-Technical Technology (Electrical Installation), BTEC National Certificate or equivalent qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Higher National Certificate in Electrical Engineering
- Working knowledge of fire systems, CCTV, security systems and lighting controls
- Application of good fault finding and communication skills are essential
Desired Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Testing and Inspection of Electrical Installations certificate is desirable
