Job Summary
Conduct general maintenance work to ensure hotel quality standards, including replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and kitchen equipment. Service the hotel pool by adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters, while maintaining building exterior curb appeal through snow removal, lawn care, and painting. Refurbish guest room furniture and fixtures, responding courteously to guest requests and complaints. Operate heavy machinery and perform routine repairs on all hotel equipment under extreme temperature conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Must have experience with drywall repair or be willing to learn
- Must be familiar with HVAC systems
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
- Be able to communicate well with guests
- Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
