Job Summary
The Maintenance Engineer is accountable for developing, managing, and implementing project engineering for the Silicon Maintenance Department. Responsibilities include identifying process improvements, managing projects, providing technical support, conducting technical investigations, and preparing specifications for equipment and construction installations. Candidates should possess knowledge in machine design and hydraulics, along with strong communication and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of machine design, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to perform / coordinate structural and civil project and infrastructure activities
- Ability to coordinate and execute a multitude of projects with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, analytical, time management skills, and strong computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in heavy manufacturing, preferably steel production and finishing
