Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and upkeep including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. Respond to open work orders within 24 hours and assist in scheduling preventive maintenance for building equipment. Diagnose problems, replace parts, and adjust systems using hand and power tools. Walk the property daily to ensure cleanliness and order, while maintaining exterior grounds, lawns, and icy areas. Obtain expenditure approvals, manage supply stock, and assist vendors on special projects. Complete additional duties as assigned, including code compliance and environmental tracking.
Required Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related carpentry/construction
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment
- Special boilers license or willingness to obtain one, if applicable
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO), if applicable
- Current and valid driver's license
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR) and have a safe driving record
- Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel
- Must successfully meet criminal background screening requirements for position
