Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Electrician Technician responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and reliability of building infrastructure and industrial equipment. Performs advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Interprets and follows electrical codes, schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical specifications using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. Provides leadership to ensure preventive maintenance programs are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. Tasks include installing power supply wiring for machines and equipment (robots, conveyors, programmable controllers), connecting wires and cables per manuals and blueprints, replacing faulty components, diagnosing malfunctions with test equipment, and planning wiring layouts. Requires strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems, PLC programming exposure, ability to read blueprints, and solid communication skills; experience in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- May be required to hold electrician's license
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience of PLC programming is preferred
- Three (3) years' experience supervising / leading a 24/7 maintenance team
- Five (5) to seven (7) years manufacturing, Engineering or related experience preferred
