Job Summary
Maintenance Electrician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a commercial/industrial setting. Reads blueprints and schematics, installs/high/low voltage systems, ensures NEC safety compliance, uses voltmeters/ohmmeters, collaborates with maintenance team, documents activities, and works across multiple shifts with overtime opportunities. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician is required
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards is essential
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately
- Experience with power tools and general maintenance practices is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required
