Maintenance Electrician - Second Shift

Job Summary

Evaluate and repair electrical and mechanical problems on production lines, rebuilding major components and systems. Inspect electrical components during and after product installation, using wiring schematics to troubleshoot AC and DC circuits, motor controls, and low voltage systems. Perform calibrations of industrial instruments, test electronics for problems, and implement designs from technical drawings. Bend conduit, wire pulling, and maintain accurate preventive maintenance records while adhering to all safety requirements. Work second shift hours Monday through Thursday with a 3:00 pm start time.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of troubleshooting electronics and electrical circuits experience
  • A working knowledge of electronics and electrical theory
  • Possess an ability to develop, calculate and read electrical schematics
  • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, and walk during the shift
  • Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Intermediate knowledge required in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs

Desired Qualifications

  • Trade school or college is a plus
  • NFPA 70e training is a plus
  • PLC & Allen Bradley HMI experience is a plus
  • Maintenance tracking software is a plus
  • PLC Allen Bradley is a plus
  • Efficiency Tracking software is a plus
  • Servo Motors and drives experience is a plus
  • Vision System Experience is a plus
