Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial production machinery, including motor control circuits, electrical panels, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using voltmeters and schematics, then reassemble units after inspections or repairs. Perform routine preventative maintenance and operate mobile equipment like forklifts and man lifts. Record parts used, order new materials, and demonstrate equipment functions to operators. Work with three-phase power up to 480V while ensuring safe isolation of systems without affecting production. Maintain a good working environment with management and fellow workers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in the field or related area
- Possess basic hand tools
- Ability to work at heights
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have an electrical journeyman certification
- Must be able to pass an electrical journeyman test
- Must have reliable attendance
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Work well with others
- Ability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekends)
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
