Job Summary

Support maintenance of electrical systems throughout municipal wastewater treatment facilities by performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on low- and high-voltage systems. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-voltage power systems, motor control centers, switchgear, transformers, feeders, and control panels. Safely perform high-voltage switching, testing, lockout/tagout, and wiring termination in industrial environments while maintaining accurate CMMS documentation. Participate in rotating on-call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure 24/7 plant operation. Occasional travel between Atlanta metro facilities may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Non‐Restricted Journeyman Electrician License
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
  • Documented experience working on high‐voltage electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one‐lines, and blueprints
  • Working knowledge of NEC requirements, safety standards, and electrical best practices
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and web‐based applications
  • Strong hands‐on experience with high‐voltage electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and feeders
  • Experience with motor controls, starters, relays, and VFDs
  • Experience with electrical distribution and control wiring
  • Experience with industrial alarms, instrumentation, and communication systems
  • Ability to safely perform high‐voltage switching, testing, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and verification activities in accordance with procedures
  • Ability to properly pull, terminate, label, and test power and control wiring in industrial environments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining operational reliability
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment when working around energized equipment
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry 50–60 pounds
  • Ability to load, unload, and move industrial electrical tools and equipment
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, around energized equipment, and climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work across extended shifts
  • Willingness to participate in rotating on‐call coverage, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response
  • Willingness to support plant needs beyond assigned tasks when required
  • Willingness to travel between facilities within the Atlanta metro area

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in 24/7 operational facilities
  • Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL)
