Job Summary
Maintenance Electrician role in a food-manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include new conduit installation, repairs, electrical motors/industrial controls, AC/DC voltages, PLC programming, and hardware networking/communication. Requires hands-on experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix, PLCs, and HMI software; use of blueprints/wiring diagrams; installation manuals; and fabricating/mechanical background. On-the-job training through Amatrol and company programs. Salary around $42.74/hr base plus 0.40/hr 3rd shift premium, with on-site, full-time schedule in Imlay City, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Associates, or Certificate in an Engineering field or Electrical Journeyman/Master licensure
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong working knowledge of motion controllers, PLCs and HMI
- Experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix
- Ability to program and troubleshoot PLCs/HMI
- Experience with wiring and installation of electrical controls
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- On-site maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work 2:00 PM-10:00 PM and midnight shift with shift premium
