Job Summary
Maintenance Electrician responsible for providing technical assistance to the maintenance team with electrical hardware and software to keep the plant operating, diagnosing and repairing electrical/control system failures, maintaining and modifying PLC/control programming, supporting capital projects and equipment control modifications, performing and documenting planned maintenance on process equipment, and contributing to a range of engineering activities; requires 5+ years of experience, PLC programming in Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Fanuc, and strong knowledge of electrical design, robotics/motion controls, and industrial sensors, all within 12-hour continental shifts with benefits and a bonus for perfect attendance; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Industrial Automation Degree, Engineering Technology Degree, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
- PLC Programming experience, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Fanuc controls, preferred
- Basic knowledge of motion controls and devices (I/O processors, digital/analog modules, servo motors, high-speed counters, steppers, and resolvers/encoders, etc.)
- Knowledge of low-power distribution systems
- Electrical design/drafting with ability to clearly and accurately annotate electrical documents, prints, software programs, industrial sensors
- CNC or Aluminum Extrusion experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
