Job Summary
Inspect, repair, install, and wire all electrical apparatus, devices, and circuits of any voltage in the plant or assigned areas. Maintain proficiency with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, drives, HMIs, and hydraulic systems, including software upgrades and Rockwell activations. Operate mobile equipment such as lift trucks, cranes, and man lifts while reading electrical schematics and using precision measurement tools. Work in hot and cold industrial mill environments, adhering to all safety rules and PPE requirements. This role involves mandatory overtime and multiple shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Work in a Safe manner, follow Safety rules and documents, wear required PPE
- Possess working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC's & AC/DC Drives
- Must be proficient in using PLC and drive software
- Maintain software as far as upgrades and Rockwell activations
- Ability to run electrical circuits and panels
- Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics

- Knowledge of following tools: Power hand tools
- Knowledge of following tools: Soldering equipment
- Knowledge of following tools: Pipe benders and threading, safety devices, miscellaneous hand tools
- Knowledge of following tools: Lift trucks, cranes, man lifts
- Knowledge of following material: All types and sizes of AC and DC motors
- Knowledge of following material: transformers
- Knowledge of following material: circuit breakers
- Knowledge of following material: rectifiers
- Knowledge of following material: electronic controls
- Knowledge of following material: control panels
- Knowledge of following material: starter
- Knowledge of following material: switches
- Knowledge of following material: lighting equipment
- Knowledge of following material: power distribution and control circuits
- Knowledge of following material: PLC logic and controls
- Knowledge of following material: conduit and fittings
- Knowledge of following material: wire and cable
- Knowledge of following material: hardware
- Knowledge of following material: insulation
- Knowledge of following material: repair and replacement parts
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- Graduated from an electrical technical school or electrical engineering program
- Minimum 5 years of experience preferred
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to operate mobile equipment including but not limited to forklifts and cranes
- Read micrometers, calipers and other measurement devices
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed
- Must be able to work multiple shifts as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Siemen's PLC's & Drives experience a plus
