Job Summary
Install electrical wiring and conduit for new machinery, robots, and controllers while planning building layouts and welding fabrications. Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus including transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, and faulty electronic or mechanical components. Maintain knowledge of boilers and chillers to ensure continuous operation. Work onsite in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday with overtime as needed. This role supports the Installation Products Division's mission to manage electrical power distribution for global utilities and businesses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 4 years of mechanical experience or and/or a state license, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One year certificate from college or technical school and/or a state license
- Ability to install electrical wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers
- Ability to diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, etc
- Ability to diagnose and repair faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards
- Ability to diagnose and repair faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
- Ability to plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit and electrical apparatus in the building
- Ability to weld and fabricate
- Knowledge of boilers and chillers
- Safety conscious
