Required Qualifications

• •Training beyond high school including either an Associate Degree in Electronic Technology, or Electromechanical or closely related technical field, or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trade programs military training or other training as applicable
• •Must be able to communicate effectively
• •Must be proficient or become proficient in CMMS Systems
• •Must be able to lift 11-24 lbs continuously
• •Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• •Must be able to stand continuously for 8+ hours
• •Must be able to sit occasionally for 1 hour
• •Must be able to bend/stoop/squat/crouch frequently for 3-6 hours
• •Must be able to pull/push occasionally
• •Must be able to climb heights occasionally
• •Must have corrected vision and dexterous use of both hands
• •Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• •No disciplinary actions in last six (6) months
• •Must not have six (6) or more attendance points
• •Must be able to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems
• •Must be able to repair pumps and fluid control systems
• •Must have demonstrated skills in the area of AC/DC circuits and industrial electrical systems
• •Must have experience in electrical safety and lock out tag out processes and procedures
• •Must have knowledge in the theory and application of electronic devices such as industrial semi-conductors solid state drives and industrial control systems
• •Must have experience in the operation of PLC systems and control and data collection instrumentation and transducers
• •Must have working knowledge and skills in tools and components used in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems such as bearings gears clutches belts and seals
• •Must have ability to use test equipment including but not limited to multimeter, megger, vibration analysis, infrared scanners, and sonic testers
• •Must be competent in Windows based software such as Outlook Excel and Word
• •Must have strong skills in document organization and using document templates and creating simple queries
• •Must be able to use document templates
• •Must be able to create simple queries
• •Must have basic Microcomputer skills necessary to understand the operation and interfacing characteristics of microprocessors
• •Must have experience in PLC operation to include basic system configuration and hardware relay equivalent instructions timers' counters data manipulation data communications and advanced programming commands as well as interfacing troubleshooting and application and program development
• •Must have demonstrated skills or training in electronic motor drive technologies including servo- motors encoders tachometers electronic and mechanical brakes and clutches closed loop systems DC servo AC variable frequency AC servo and stepper systems
• •Must have ability to troubleshoot and maintain all conveyor systems and controls
• •Must have ability to troubleshoot and maintain all pneumatic systems and controls
• •Must have ability to troubleshoot and maintain all hydraulic systems and controls
• •Must have ability to troubleshoot and maintain existing alarm systems including severe weather, fire, security, and ammonia
• •Must have ability to troubleshoot ammonia system problems including transducers, and control systems
• •Must have ability to troubleshoot all PLC systems
• •Must have ability to maintain and troubleshoot existing alarm systems including severe weather, fire, security, and ammonia
• •Must have ability to maintain, and troubleshoot VFD systems within the plant
• •Must have ability to work closely with maintenance electrician for conduit and wiring changes and installations
• •Must have ability to work closely with maintenance electrician to maintain camera system
• •Must have ability to work closely with maintenance fabricator on MIG, TIG, and Arc welding projects
• •Must have ability to work closely with Refrigeration to troubleshoot ammonia system problems including transducers, and control systems
• •Must have ability to implement all control system changes and follow through to completion
• •Must have ability to troubleshoot controls of all new and existing electrical control and safety systems in the plant, water treatment area, and all external buildings
• •Must have ability to accomplish PLC troubleshooting of new and existing PLC systems
• •Must have ability to maintain existing alarm systems
• •Must have ability to maintain existing electrical control and safety systems
• •Must have ability to maintain existing water treatment area systems
• •Must have ability to maintain existing external buildings systems
