Job Summary
Electrician role supporting maintenance across manufacturing facilities; responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment; perform general mechanical maintenance; ensure safety, compliance, and documentation; collaborate with departments; maintain cleanliness and organize work areas following 5S; adapt to multiple facility areas; transport tools; communicate downtime proactively; cross-train and support multiple departments; strong emphasis on safety, problem-solving, and initiative; requires Journeyman’s License and a solid mix of mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude; preferred experience in electrical/mechanical fields and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman’s License (required minimum for this role)
- Demonstrated strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective planning and organizational abilities
- Outstanding safety, attendance, and work performance record
- Strong computer skills and comfort with maintenance software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently
- Flexible and willing to work extended hours or off-shifts as required
