Job Summary
The Engineer 1 Electrical maintains the plant's electrical system and auxiliaries to optimum operating capacity by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, assembling and installing wiring/equipment, diagnosing malfunctions, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include supervising electrical contracted works, planning layout and installation based on job specifications and the Philippine Electrical Code, directing and training workers, preparing wiring diagrams and cost estimates for improvements, placing ground leads, and assisting during emergency calls. The role requires experience with testing equipment (mega-ohmmeters, voltmeters, clamp meters), basic PLC/automation knowledge, SAP usage for process/task records, and adherence to quality, Halal, health, and food safety policies. Knowledge of KAIZEN, ISO 9001:2008, and HACCP, plus the ability to interpret drawings and work with instrumentation, pneumatics, and electro-pneumatic control systems, are valued.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Graduate of Industrial Electrical Technology
- Registered Electrical Engineer &/or Registered Master Electrician (licensed)
- Working knowledge of instrumentation technology; electrical/electronics circuit design, troubleshooting, and repair; pneumatics and electro-pneumatic control system troubleshooting
- Ability to interpret working drawing plans
- At least one year of work experience in Industrial Electrical maintenance (preferred)
