Job Summary
Maintain the property through mowing, trimming, weed control, seasonal watering, snow removal, and general exterior upkeep. Complete warehouse and office improvement projects including painting, light remodeling, shelving installation, and repairs. Perform or coordinate repairs on warehouse tools, machinery, and equipment while running weekly preventive maintenance on the forklift fleet, conveyor system, and racking. Walk the fire suppression room and pallet storage area weekly to conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Handle monthly facility upkeep tasks such as changing air conditioner filters, greasing conveyor bearings, washing the company truck, and removing scrap metal. Schedule and track preventive maintenance for tow motors, box trucks, and company vehicles, maintaining accurate records for all assets. Monitor maintenance supply levels, reorder parts, and operate the cardboard compactor and other facility equipment safely. Own the cardboard compactor, wood dumpster, and pallet organization.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of facility or equipment maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to operate common maintenance tools and equipment safely
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
