Job Summary
Lead all maintenance operations for a senior living community, overseeing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances; prepare apartments for new residents; conduct daily inspections; manage maintenance records, budgets, and preventive maintenance; coordinate bids and contractor work; ensure compliance with safety regulations and disaster plans; support residents and staff with timely work orders and facility needs; requires 2+ years of hands-on maintenance and familiarity with OSHA/Life Safety Code.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a similar setting
- Skills in at least two of: carpentry, painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or refurbishing
- Must lift 75 lbs and safely operate tools/equipment
- Familiarity with OSHA, Life Safety Code, and assisted living regulations (or willingness to learn)
- Previous experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, or property management
- Comfortably using basic computer programs (TELS) to track maintenance logs and budgets
