Maintenance Director

Job Summary
Maintenance Director responsible for ensuring that the facility is safe, attractive and well maintained and operating within the facility maintenance budget. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Administrator and Director of Operations, providing weekly/monthly maintenance reports, handling routine maintenance and life-safety training/drills, maintaining 24-hour response for maintenance requests, overseeing interior and exterior maintenance (painting, patching, carpet care, grounds, signage), and ensuring mechanical soundness of the facility. Requires 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public, and ability to meet health requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Relevant work experience (2 plus years preferred).
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and general public.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must have basic reporting and organizational skills.
- Must be capable of maintaining full time attendance.
